How Account Standing Works
Our post Where We Draw the Line explained what is not allowed on AICHIKI and how an account gets banned. This post covers the system that sits before that point: Account Standing, which tunes your experience to how you use the app.
What Account Standing is
Your Account Standing page is in Settings. It shows which of four tiers your account is in. Standing is not fixed. It changes over time with how you use the app and how you take part in the community. Most users will only ever see it go up.
The four tiers
Trusted is the highest tier. Chats can explore deeper themes, literary nuance and darker emotional territory when the conversation naturally calls for them.
Standard is the default. You have the full AICHIKI experience and all core features. Basic is a reduced version of the full experience. Some features may be limited while your standing recovers.
Limited is a simplified, careful experience. Replies are kept shorter in every chat, whatever your chat settings are. Creating characters, uploading images, generating AI images and publishing to the community are unavailable until your standing improves.
Mature content handled within our guidelines is part of the experience at Trusted, Standard and Basic. It is restricted only at Limited.
What raises your standing
Standing grows on its own through consistent, positive activity. These also help:
Engaging positively with characters and the community
Following the content rules on age, identity and safety
Verifying your email address
Subscribing to Plus or Premium
What lowers your standing
Normal use never lowers your standing. Dark themes and mature roleplay handled within our guidelines do not lower it either.
Standing drops only for serious content violations, including:
- Content involving minors in any sexual or harmful context
- Non-consensual scenarios presented approvingly
- Illegal content of any kind
- Excessive graphic violence
- Jailbreak attempts, or other attempts to bypass the safety systems
When the security system detects one of these, it steers the story toward a safe continuation, removes points from your standing and alerts us. The full list of prohibited content is in our Terms.
Warnings and bans
If your standing drops to a low level, you receive a warning notification in the app. If the violations continue after that, the account can be restricted further or banned permanently.
Standing recovers on its own once the account is used within the rules. There is no form to fill in and nothing to request.
Standing and the daily allowance
These are two separate systems, and they are often confused.
The daily allowance is about capacity. Every plan includes a daily amount of use on a stronger AI model. When it runs out, your chats continue on a lighter model for the rest of the day, and the allowance resets at midnight. Nothing is cut off, replies are not shortened and no features are lost.
Account Standing is about safety. Using up your daily allowance has no effect on your standing, and your standing has no effect on your allowance. We will cover the daily allowance in its own post.
